Psychotherapy Supervision
Compassionate Guidance in Your Professional Work
The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario requires supervision of qualifying psychotherapists as an imperative and valuable part of professional formation, represented as “a contractual relationship in which a clinical supervisor engages with a supervisee to discuss the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship; promote the professional growth of the supervisee; enhance the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship; and safeguard the well-being of the client”.
What Supervision Provides...
- To safeguard the welfare of the client
- To discuss the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship
- To enhance the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship
- To meet the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) registration requirement for supervision
- To promote the professional growth of the supervisee
Rates
- Individual supervision (50 minute hour): $169.50CAD
Cancellation Policy
Clients are required to provide 48-hour cancellation notice. If no cancellation notice is received or if cancellation notice is received with less than 48-hour notice, the client will be responsible for the full fee due for the allotted time. Exceptions will be made for illness and emergency situations. This policy also applies to case supervision sessions.
